My hometown is Hefei. In the past, the economy here was underdeveloped. Now, with the development of economy, the environment in Hefei has changed a lot.

The short and shabby house in the past has now become a brand-new high-rise building. People have more spacious and bright living conditions. According to my father, our family lived in a bungalow at first, then moved into a building, and now we live in a beautiful community. The house is bigger and the environment is better.

The original road was thin and narrow, very crowded, and there were frequent traffic jams. Now the road has become wide and flat, with flowers and trees planted on both sides of the road, and the traffic is very smooth. For example, Anqing Road in front of the Public Security Department is undergoing tremendous changes. The illegal buildings on both sides of the road were demolished, the roadside was widened, and beautiful pedestrian floor tiles were laid on both sides, making it safer for students to cross the road.

Now the urban greening is much better than before. Roads, communities, parks ... all kinds of colorful flowers and trees have been planted, the air is fresher, and rivers and ponds are crystal clear. Even my yard is planted with pipa trees, Toona sinensis trees and honeysuckle flowers. ...
