Scientific citation index is based on Bradford's literature dispersion theory and E. Garfield's citation analysis theory. EI (Engineering Index) is the oldest large-scale comprehensive retrieval tool founded by the American Federation of Engineers in 1884. ISTP (index of scientific and technological conference proceedings) contains conference documents of life science, physical and chemical science, agriculture, biology and environmental science, engineering technology and applied science, including general conferences, symposiums, research conferences, seminars and conferences.
