In the 2002 draft, the Rockets chose China's sensational Yao Ming. He successfully entered the NBA, with high expectations and great pressure. When he is healthy, Ming is as good as an advertisement. If he is judged only by his talent, he can easily rank among the top five centers in NBA history.

Unfortunately, he was injured many times in his career, which caused him to miss too many games.

Despite his injuries, Ming's achievements cannot be ignored. During his NBA career, he averaged 9.2 rebounds per game, 19 points.

Dwight Howard

Howard joined the Rockets as a free agent in July 20 13, only 27 years old. Although he has not been proved to be a Houston player, his NBA achievements before joining the team can not be ignored.

As a young player of Orlando Magic, Howard is generally regarded as the best center in NBA. In the two years before joining the Rockets, he struggled with injuries, but vowed that he would come to Houston soon and would not be injured anyway.

Even if he retires before returning to the team, Howard's data and achievements will be compared with the top five centers in the history of the Rockets. Because of his past success and future potential in Houston, he won the fourth place.

Elvin Hayes

NBA achievements:

1978 NBA championship, 12 NBA All-Star Games, 1969 NBA scoring champion, selected for the first team three times, selected for the second team three times, selected for the second team of NBA's best defense, the first team of NBA's best rookie and the 50th anniversary team twice. Best Associated Press athlete 1968, elected to the naismith Basketball Hall of Fame 1990.

Some people may be too young to remember Hayes, but it is important to note that he was a member of the Rockets before they moved to Houston. Before Houston Rockets, they were called San Diego Rockets.

However, Hayes is one of the best big men in NBA history. Average 2 1 min 12.5 rebounds per game. He ranks fourth in total rebounds in NBA history, behind wilt chamberlain, bill russell and Karim Abdul Gabal.

Moses Malone

NBA/ABA achievements:

1983 NBA championship, 1983 NBA Finals MVP, three NBA Most Valuable Players, 12 NBA All-Star Games, two ABA All-Star Games, four NBA First Teams, four NBA Second Teams, six NBA Rebounders, 1983 NBA All-Defense First Team,/kloc 1975 ABA all-star team, 50th anniversary team of NBA, No.24 jersey retired from Houston Rockets, and was elected to naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006.

Malone is not only one of the greatest rocket players in history, but also one of the best basketball players in history. To show his greatness, he is the third largest rebounder (17834 rebounds) and the sixth leading scorer (29580 points) in NBA/ABA history.

Malone plays professional basketball 2 1 season. He ranked fifth and fourth with total playing time (49,333) and total score (1.455).

Hakeem Olajuwon

Two NBA championships, two finals MVP, 1994 NBA Most Valuable Player, 12 NBA All-Star Games, two NBA Defensive Players of the Year, two NBA Rebounders, six NBA First Teams, three NBA Second Teams, three NBA Best Teams, five defensive first teams and four defensive second teams.1. When you think of the Houston Rockets, Olajuwon comes to mind first. In fact, when you think of the great defenders in NBA history, Olajuwon should be one of the first players that people think of.

Most career blocked shots (3,830), most career centers (2 152) and most season steals (2 13). He is also the only player who can record 200 blocked shots and 200 steals in the same season.

Olajuwon's most impressive achievement was in 1994, when he became the only player in NBA history to win the regular season MVP, finals MVP and annual defensive player award in the same season.
