1. Xiao Yan (464-549), who lived in Liang Wudi, was 85 years old. He reigned for forty-eight years (502-549).

2. Wu Zetian (624-705) was eighty-one years old and reigned for fifteen years (690-705).

Qian Liu (852-932), King of Wu Yue in the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, was eighty years old and reigned for twenty-five years (907-932).

5. Emperor Michelle Ye (1654- 1722) was sixty-nine years old and reigned for sixty-one years (1662- 1722). He ascended the throne at the age of eight.

7. Tang Gaozu Li Yuan (566-635) was 69 years old. He was in office for nine years (6 18-626).
