Historical Documents of "Old Shenyang" (6) Kuixing Building
There used to be a temple along the Xiaohe River in Shenyang, which was the Kuixing Building.

At that time, the Kuixing Tower stood high in the east of the city, with the afterglow of the sunset and a thousand miles of sight. "Star Pavilion Xia Qing" is one of the eight scenic spots in Shenyang.

Kuixing Building was built in the second year of Tiancong (1628) and rebuilt three times later.

Kuixing Building is about 20 meters high, with three floors and a roof built on the mountain.

There are revolving doors and blue brick doors in front of the temple, titled "Kuixing Building". There are two flagpoles on the left and right, and a triangular column frame is set in the north of the temple to hang iron bells.

From 1966 to 1976, now the temple is gone. Kuixing Building is located on the bank of the South Canal between Wanliutang and Wanquan Park. If preserved, it will be a very beautiful cultural landscape. Now the original site is a pile of messy buildings. I hope that one day, Kuixing Building can be rebuilt.
