The origin of Taierzhuang
The origin of the name "Taierzhuang" has always been controversial.

One is named after the surname. Taihua and Taihua are the earliest two, so they are called Taihuazhuang, and gradually evolved into Taijiazhuang and Taihuangzhuang.

The second is named after geographical entities. There are two reasons: first, the Ming History Canal says: "Taijiazhuang ... all places are high hills", which means this place is very high; Secondly, the ancient Taierzhuang four Zhou Tianran waterways crisscross and are low-lying. In the flood season, all the water will converge into a Wang Yang, and only Taizhuang can escape the flood.

In view of this, it is logical for our ancestors to build platforms to avoid water and live in the village. Up to now, there are still the former sites of Phoenix Terrace, Zhutai and Jintai in the city. As for why it is called "Taierzhuang", it is said that it is caused by the rhyme of "Taierzhuang".
