I advocate reforming the learning methods and systems of our whole party. The reason for this is the following：

The twenty years of China's * * production party are the twenty years of increasingly combining the universal truth of Marxism-Leninism with the concrete practice of China revolution. If we recall how shallow and poor our understanding of Marxism-Leninism and the China Revolution was when our Party was young, our understanding of these things is much deeper and richer now. The disaster-stricken Chinese nation, over the past century, its outstanding figures have struggled and sacrificed one after another to explore the truth of saving the country and the people, which is touching. However, it was not until the First World War and the October Revolution in Russia that we discovered that Marxism–Leninism, the best truth, was the best weapon to liberate our nation, and the Chinese Production Party was the initiator, propagandist and organizer to take up this weapon. Once the universal truth of Marxism-Leninism is combined with the concrete practice of China Revolution, the face of China Revolution will change. Since War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, according to the universal truth of Marxism-Leninism, our Party has made new progress in studying the concrete practice of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and China and the world today, and has also made some progress in studying the history of China. All these are good signs.

But we still have shortcomings, and we still have great shortcomings. I think that if we don't correct these shortcomings, we can't go any further, and we can't do a good job in the great cause of combining the universal truth of Marxism-Leninism with the concrete practice of the China Revolution.

First of all, the research status. As a big political party like ours, although we have made some achievements in studying the situation at home and abroad, the materials we collected are still fragmentary and the research work is not systematic. In the past twenty years, generally speaking, we have not collected and studied the above-mentioned information systematically and meticulously, and lacked a strong atmosphere for investigating and studying the objective actual situation. "Catch sparrows with eyes closed" and "Blind people touch elephants", careless and boastful, content with a little knowledge. This extremely bad style of work, which completely runs counter to the basic spirit of Marxism–Leninism, still exists among many comrades in our Party. Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin taught us to study the situation seriously, starting from the objective and true situation, not from the subjective desire; Many of our comrades directly violate this truth.

Second, study history. Although a few sympathizers of party member and minority parties have done this work, they have never done it in an organized way. No matter the history of China in the past hundred years or the ancient history, it is still dark in the minds of many party member. Many Marxist-Leninist scholars also said that they were Greeks, but sorry for their ancestors, they forgot. The air for serious study of the present situation is not strong, nor is the air for serious study of history.

Second, we should learn from the international revolutionary experience and the universal truth of Marxism-Leninism. It seems that many comrades study Marxism-Leninism not for the needs of revolutionary practice, but for simple study. So although I read it, I can't digest it. Only the individual words of Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin are quoted unilaterally, and their positions, viewpoints and methods are not used to specifically study the present situation of China and the history of China, specifically analyze the revolutionary problems in China and solve the revolutionary problems in China. This attitude towards Marxism-Leninism is very harmful, especially for cadres above the intermediate level.

I mentioned three situations above: I don't pay attention to the research status quo, I don't pay attention to the study of history, and I don't pay attention to the application of Marxism-Leninism. These are all extremely bad styles. The spread of this style of work has hurt many of our comrades.

Indeed, many comrades in our team were misled by this style of work. Are many comrades unwilling to make a systematic and thorough investigation and study of the specific situation at home and abroad, inside and outside the province, inside and outside the county, and inside and outside the region, and just give orders there with a little knowledge? Isn't this still subjective?

I know nothing about my own history, or I know very little about it. I am not ashamed, but proud. Of particular importance are the history of the * * * production party in China and the history of nearly a hundred years since the Opium War in China. Almost no one has seriously studied the economic history, political history, military history and cultural history in the past hundred years. Some people know nothing about their own things, leaving them with Greek and foreign stories, which are also pitiful and picked up from old foreign newspapers.

For decades, many foreign students have committed this kind of problem. They came back from Europe, America and Japan and only lived to talk about foreign countries. They played the role of phonograph and forgot their responsibility to know and create new things. This kind of problem has also spread to the producers of * * *.

We study Marxism, but many of us study Marxism in a way that directly opposes Marxism. In other words, they violated a basic principle that Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin earnestly warned people: the unity of theory and practice. Because they violated this principle, they created an opposite principle: the separation of theory and practice. In school education and on-the-job cadre education, those who teach philosophy do not guide students to study the logic of China revolution, those who teach economics do not guide students to study the characteristics of China economy, those who teach political science do not guide students to study the strategies of China revolution, and those who teach military science do not guide students to study strategies and tactics suitable for China characteristics, and so on. As a result, fallacies spread and misled people. After studying in Yan 'an, you can't apply in Fuxian (1). The economics professor can't explain the border currency and legal tender, and neither can the students. In this way, it has caused a kind of abnormal psychology among many students. They are not interested in the China issue and ignore the instructions of the Party. What they yearn for wholeheartedly is the theory they learned from Mr. Wang, which is said to be eternal.

Of course, what I said above is a very bad example of our party, which is not universal. However, this model does exist, and the number is quite large, and the harm is quite great, so we can't take it lightly.

three

In order to explain this meaning repeatedly, I want to compare two opposing attitudes.

The first kind: the attitude of subjectivism.

Under this attitude, it means that we don't do systematic and meticulous research on the surrounding environment, but only work with subjective enthusiasm, which is like a shadow of China today. Under this attitude, it is to cut off history, knowing only Greek, but not China. The face of China yesterday and the day before yesterday is dark. Under this attitude, we are learning the theory of Marxism-Leninism abstractly and aimlessly. Not in order to solve the theoretical and strategic problems of the China Revolution, we went to Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin to find positions, viewpoints and methods, but simply studied the theory. Don't aim at something, but aim at nothing. Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin taught us to proceed from the actual things that exist objectively and draw laws from them as our guide to action. To this end, as Marx said, we must master the materials in detail, conduct scientific analysis and comprehensive research. On the other hand, many of us don't. Many of them do research work, but they are not interested in studying today's China and yesterday's China, and only focus on the empty "theoretical" research divorced from reality. Many people do practical work without paying attention to the study of objective conditions. They often rely only on enthusiasm and regard feelings as policies. These two kinds of people are subjective and ignore the existence of objective and practical things. Or make a speech, and then a bunch of A, B, C, D,1234; Or writing an article, it is a big boast. There is no intention of seeking truth from facts, but there is a heart of grandstanding. Flashy, brittle but not firm. Self-righteous, Lao Tzu is the best in the world, and "imperial envoys" are flying all over the sky. This is the style of some comrades in our team. This style of work, if self-discipline, will harm yourself; If you teach others, you will harm others; If we use it to guide the revolution, it will endanger the revolution. In a word, this anti-scientific and anti-Marxism-Leninism subjectivist method is the enemy of the * * * production party, the working class, the people, the nation and the impure party spirit. At present, it is necessary for us to defeat the great enemy. Only when subjectivism is overthrown can the truth of Marxism-Leninism rise, the party spirit be consolidated and the revolution be won. It should be said that the absence of a scientific attitude, that is, an attitude that does not integrate Marxism-Leninism with practice, is called lack of party spirit or incomplete party spirit.

This kind of person has a portrait. The two men said:

The reeds on the wall are top-heavy and shallow;

Bamboo shoots in the mountains have a thick mouth and an empty stomach.

Do you think it is similar to those who have no scientific attitude, those who only know how to recite some words in the works of Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin, and those who exist in name only and have no real talent and learning? If someone really wants to treat their own problems, I advise him to write down this pair; Or be brave and stick it on your own wall. Marxism-Leninism is science, science is honest knowledge, and no practical joke is allowed. Tell the truth!

Second: Marxist-Leninist attitude.

Under this attitude, it is to use the theory and method of Marxism-Leninism to make a systematic and detailed investigation and study of the surrounding environment. We should not just work with enthusiasm, as Stalin said, but should combine the revolutionary spirit with the practical spirit. Under this attitude, we just don't cut off history. Know not only Greek, but also China; We should not only know the history of foreign revolution, but also know the history of China revolution. We should not only understand China today, but also China yesterday and the day before yesterday. Under this attitude, it is necessary to study Marxism-Leninism theory purposefully, combine Marxism-Leninism theory with the actual movement of China revolution, and find positions, viewpoints and methods from China revolution to solve the theoretical and strategic problems of China revolution. This attitude is targeted. "Yes" is the China Revolution, and "Asia" is Marxism-Leninism. We China * * * producers are looking for this "arrow" just to shoot the "target" of the China Revolution and the Eastern Revolution. This attitude is the attitude of seeking truth from facts. "Fact" is everything that exists objectively, "yes" is the internal connection of objective things, that is, regularity, and "seeking" is what we study. We should proceed from the actual situation at home and abroad, inside and outside the province, inside and outside the county, and inside and outside the district, and draw its inherent rather than imaginary regularity from it, that is, find out the internal connection of the surrounding events as our guide. To do this, we can't rely on subjective imagination, temporary enthusiasm, and dead books, but we should take objective facts as the basis, possess materials in detail, and draw correct conclusions from these materials under the guidance of the universal principles of Marxism-Leninism. This conclusion is not a list of A, B, C and D phenomena, nor is it a rhetoric, but a scientific conclusion. This attitude means seeking truth from facts, without grandstanding. This attitude is the expression of party spirit and the style of integrating Marxism-Leninism with practice. This is an attitude that party member should at least have. If you have this attitude, you are neither "top-heavy" nor "sharp-tongued and thick-skinned".

Based on the above comments, I have the following suggestions:

(a) put forward the task of systematically and carefully studying the surrounding environment to the whole party. According to the theory and method of Marxism-Leninism, this paper makes a detailed investigation and study on the economy, finance, politics, military affairs, culture and party affairs of the three parties, and then draws an appropriate and necessary conclusion. Therefore, it is necessary to direct the comrades' eyes to the investigation and study of this practical thing. Comrades should be made to understand that the basic task of the leading organs of the Party is to know the situation and master policies. The former is to know the world, and the latter is to transform the world. Comrades should understand that there is no right to speak without investigation, and it is useless to list the phenomenon of 1234. For example, regarding propaganda work, if we don't know the propaganda situation of our enemies, friends and ourselves, we can't correctly decide our propaganda policy. The work of any department must be understood before it can be handled well. Carrying out the investigation and research plan in the whole party is the basic link to change the party's style of work.

(2) With regard to the history of China for nearly a hundred years, we should brainstorm and work together to overcome the disorganization. We must first analyze and study the economic history, political history, military history and cultural history before we can conduct a comprehensive study.

(3) For the education of on-the-job cadres and the education of cadre schools, we should establish the policy of taking the study of the practical problems of the China revolution as the center and taking the basic principles of Marxism-Leninism as the guide, and abolish the static and isolated method of learning Marxism-Leninism. The study of Marxism-Leninism should be based on a brief history of communist party (Bolshevik) in the Soviet Union. A Brief History of the Soviet * * * Production Party (Bolshevik) is the highest synthesis and summary of the world * * * production movement in the past century. It is a typical combination of theory and practice and the only complete model in the world. We can see how Lenin and Stalin combined the universal truth of Marxism with the concrete practice of the Soviet revolution to develop Marxism, and then we can know how we should work in China.

We have gone through many detours. But mistakes are often the forerunner of correctness. In such a vivid and rich revolutionary environment as China and the world, I believe that our transformation study will have good results.
