The History and Culture of Jiayu County
Jiayu County was founded in the first year of Dakang in the Western Jin Dynasty (AD 280). It was named after The Book of Songs Xiaoya Nanyou Jiayu. It has a long history and rich cultural heritage, which contains cultural heritages such as Southern Song Dynasty culture, Three Kingdoms culture, Wudu culture, rap culture and fish culture. Culture of the Southern Song Dynasty In February of the fifth year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1 135), Yue Fei was ordered to recruit Yang Yao, stationed in the county town, set up a watchtower, and built a city to station troops when Liu Bei was stationed in Battle of Red Cliffs, Shushan. At that time, it was called military camp and military camp, and later it was called Yue Gongcheng. On May 1 day of the same year, Yue Fei entered Huangbang, Yuezhou, and guarded the site of Gongyue City. Gong Yuecheng is oval, 40 meters long, 82 meters wide, and its circumference is 137 meters. Jiayu people built a Gong Yue Pavilion in Sanhu Lianjiang Scenic Area to commemorate Yue Fei. Three Kingdoms Culture 2008 10/0, in the 13th year of Jian 'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty, Cao met and returned to Wulin in Jiangbei after World War I on Chibi River. Zhou Yujun fought with them one by one, stationed in Lukou, Jiangnan (now Luxi Town, Jiayu County), Jieshi in Tieling to Guihu Mountain, and Liu Beijun stationed in Baiyun Mountain to Shushan. Zhou Yu took Lukou as the base camp and built a beacon tower in Chibi Mountain. In the 15th year of Jian 'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty (2 10), after Zhou Yu died of illness, Sun Quan took Lu Su as the satrap of Hanchang and led Zhou Yujun to stay in Lukou. In the second year of Wu Chiwu (239), Monroe, Lu Xun, Pan Zhang and Lv Dai led the troops to guard Lukou. Lukou is an important town in Wu Dong, where the famous Battle of Red Cliffs happened in history. The culture of the Three Kingdoms has become the mainstream culture in Chu culture and the representative of Jiayu tourism culture. Wudu culture Wudu culture is a banner in Jiayu characteristic culture. Twenty years ago, Wudu was just a mud whistle circulating in Pazhou area, used by shepherds to relieve their worries and call cattle and sheep. County cultural authorities have invested a lot of energy, material resources and financial resources to develop Wudu, a unique local folk musical instrument in the world, and put it on the literary stage to make this wonderful folk art shine. Rap culture Paizhou rap is a folk art form and another achievement of Jiayu's development of characteristic culture. Paizhou rap, all in dialects, has 2-8 performers who play drums, gongs and cymbals by themselves. One person said, several people answered, one sang, several summarized, rapped for a while and played musical instruments for a while. Music thought is based on ten kinds of tapestries, with concentrated content, bright rhythm and strong musicality, which is deeply loved by the masses. As early as 1993, Paizhou's rap "Auntie and Sister-in-law" was introduced overseas and became very popular in Southeast Asia. This characteristic culture has made its own contribution to the cultural exchange between China and foreign countries. Fish culture "there is Jiayu in the south, steamed, wine for gentlemen, banquet for guests", and ancient poetry gives Jiayu a reputation of being young. Jiayu is rich in fresh fish, so it also breeds a vivid "fish culture". Jiayu has a long history of fish culture. In the eleventh year of Baotai in the Southern Tang Dynasty (AD 953), the emperor passed through this place on a southern tour, tasted the fish paid tribute by local fishermen, and repeatedly praised: "Good fish, good fish!" Jiayu, thus named. Jiayu people have been taking water as their partner and fish as their relatives for generations. In Cha 'an New District, the newly-built urban sculpture shows the majestic posture of "two fish playing with pearls", and fish becomes the totem of Jiayu spirit; Fish culture has become a beautiful landscape in Jiayu characteristic culture.
