When Yao abdicated in his later years, due to Danzhu's strong will and bad temper, Emperor Yao failed to pass the throne to his son Danzhu, but to Shun, who gave Danzhu a territory in the flooded area to govern. Although Dani is strong-willed and violent, he still has some skills in managing fields. He led the tribesmen in the flooded area to cultivate seeds, build water conservancy, develop agriculture, burn pottery and build Yanzhu City (the old city south of the Yellow River), which made the politics, economy and culture of this area develop. Through governance, the people here have no hands, no shortage of Artemisia fields, passers-by accommodate each other, grow and age in an orderly manner, and their ability to govern the country is no less than that of Yao Shun, which is deeply loved by the people. After Dan Zhu's death, the tribal people attached great importance to him, gathered eight miles east of Pucheng, and buried him in the giants. Its tomb looks like a mountain and is called Danzhu Tomb. Legend has it that the Danzhu Tomb in East Bali of Pucheng can be seen clearly.
