The History of China Tea

2. Zhou dynasty: began to cultivate tea trees artificially as food.

3. Qin and Han Dynasties: Tea gradually spread, and the tea area expanded to Jingchu area in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. Cooking was the most important way to drink tea at that time.

4. Tang dynasty: tea drinking has become very common, from the aristocratic class to the middle and lower classes of society, and has become a daily drink for every household; Tea is mainly cake tea, but also a small amount of coarse tea, loose tea and end tea.

5. Song Dynasty: During the period of tea drinking activities and tea culture prosperity in history, the folk culture of "competing for tea" rose, and at the same time, the method of ordering tea gradually replaced the method of frying tea, which was called fashion.

6. Yuan Dynasty: Tea processing methods were simplified, and there were more and more famous tea categories, and loose tea became the mainstream.

7. Qing Dynasty: All six basic teas were formed, and new tea planting, production and processing technologies appeared.
