Historical evolution of Weicheng town
In the third year of Chongzhen in Ming Dynasty (1630), Zhenxiwei was established, and in the twenty-sixth year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (1687), it was withdrawn and merged with Wei Qing Wei, and Qingzhen County was renamed the Acropolis.

Since the founding of New China, the administrative organization of Weicheng Town has undergone many changes. 199 1 at the end of the year, the area was withdrawn to build a town, and the original undercurrent township and woodcut township were designated as new undercurrent townships. Five villages in Caishui Town, such as Yanjiao, Laoyuanzi, Gaishan, Dazhai and Daba, are under the jurisdiction of Wali Township. The newly-built Weicheng Town has two neighborhood committees and 36 administrative villages.
