The 15 road in the Tang Dynasty and the 23 road in the Song Dynasty all belong to the Supervision Department. In such a big environment, in order to consolidate its rule, the Yuan Dynasty introduced the system of provinces and divided the whole country into 10 provinces, combining the experience of the 23rd Road in Song Dynasty and the Shangshutai of Jin Guoxing. Among them, Yunnan Province was established at that time. However, the division of Yunnan Province at that time was very different from that of Yunnan Province now.
Although the Yuan Dynasty established the provincial system, it left behind various problems, such as simple management institutions, the separation of local officials and so on. 1368, after Zhu Yuanzhang established the Ming Dynasty, he further adjusted and improved the provincial system of the Yuan Dynasty. As there were two capitals in the Ming Dynasty, the zoning pattern of two Beijing and thirteen provinces gradually formed. It must be said that the zoning outlines of many provinces in China were formulated during the Ming Dynasty, such as Henan, Shandong and Jiangxi provinces.
During this period, the division of Yunnan Province was further improved. Dongchuan city, which needs to be said today, was also under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province in the Ming Dynasty, with Qiaojia County and Huize County under its jurisdiction. In ancient history, the Central Plains dynasty has been faced with a long-standing problem, that is, the separatist regime of the southwest chieftain. For all kinds of problems, the Central Plains Dynasty tried to weaken the influence of Tusi. However, the Central Plains dynasty took the north as its center of gravity, resisted the grassland cavalry from going south, and was unable to deal with the southwest toast problem at all.
In the late Ming Dynasty, some chieftains in the southwest even launched a large-scale rebellion, and the Ming Dynasty made great efforts to put it down. /kloc-in the 0/7th century, after the Qing Dynasty established its own rule, it was further improved on the basis of the provinces in the Ming Dynasty, and gradually formed the division pattern of eighteen inland provinces. 1722, 69-year-old Emperor Kangxi died and 45-year-old Yong Zhengdi ascended the throne.
After 6 1 year's efforts, Emperor Kangxi basically eradicated a series of external threats. Although the northwest Junggar is still in a wild state, it continues to confront the Qing Dynasty. However, it is impossible to shake the Qing dynasty by relying on the Junggar Ministry with a population of only a few hundred thousand. At this time, Yong Zhengdi began to deal with a series of internal problems, such as spreading land and returning fire to the people. In the southwest, Yong Zhengdi sent E Ertai, a confidant, as the Governor of Yunnan and Guizhou, who was solely responsible for changing soil into flow.
During his work in Southwest China, E Ertai, under his strong impetus, placed Dongchuan Prefecture, which was originally from Sichuan Province, under the management of Yunnan Province. At this point, the outline of Yunnan Province has been basically established. I have to say that Dongchuan Prefecture is very important to Yunnan Province. Because during the Qianlong period, Dongchuanfu discovered a copper mine with amazing reserves. This series of copper mines quickly became one of the main financial resources of Yunnan Province. At that time, there was a saying in the household department of Beijing that "Huaibei salt tax is a copper mine in Yunnan".
It can be seen that in the eyes of the imperial court, the Yunnan copper mine with Dongchuanfu as the core is as important as the salt tax in Huaibei area. 19 12. After the demise of the Qing Dynasty, China entered a complicated situation of warlord melee. In a blink of an eye, at the beginning of the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), a series of special zones were set up in various provinces of China. The special zone belongs to the division mode in 1950s and 1960s, and its level is equivalent to that of a prefecture-level city, while its jurisdiction is larger than that of a prefecture-level city. The jurisdiction of a special zone is equivalent to two or three prefecture-level cities now.
For example, Xinxiang district, Henan province, has a trachea covering more than 20 counties. After 1950s, with the basic end of the war, China entered the stage of post-war reconstruction and economic development. During this period, various resources are very important, such as oil in Daqing, cement in Tongchuan and so on. In Yunnan Province, the copper resources in Dongchuan are very important, and many projects can't be built without copper mines. 1954, in order to better mine Dongchuan copper mine, a prefecture-level Dongchuan mining area was established.
Although Dongchuan mining area is small, it only includes several surrounding towns and villages, but its position is important, and it is on a par with all regions. From 65438 to 0958, the prefecture-level Dongchuan mining area was changed to Dongchuan prefecture-level city, Huize county and other places, and was included in the management of Dongchuan prefecture-level city. However, in 1964, Huize County was included in the management of Qujing area, and Dongchuan City was still a prefecture-level city. According to statistics, Dongchuan City has mined 480,000 tons of copper concentrate and 0/52.7 tons of silver concentrate, which has made great contributions.
In the late 1960s, all the special zones in China were renamed as regions. After entering the 1980s, with the sustained economic development of various regions, in order to meet the needs of economic development, the areas under the jurisdiction of various provinces in China have been renamed as prefecture-level cities. At that time, Yunnan Province successively established nine prefecture-level cities and eight autonomous prefectures, with a total of 17 prefecture-level divisions. In the license plate sequence of 1990s, Kunming, the provincial capital, was Yun A, while Dongchuan obtained the license plate of Yun B. ..
But after 1990s, with the sustained development of economy, many industries began to transform. At this time, Dongchuan City is facing various problems such as single industry, insufficient infrastructure and weak agricultural foundation. Therefore, Dongchuan City was abolished in 1998, and Dongchuan Municipal District was merged into Kunming, the provincial capital, and became Dongchuan District of Kunming. I have to say that this situation is not a case. In Shandong Province, the situation in Laiwu City is very similar to that in Dongchuan City.
With the revocation of Dongchuan City, the number of prefecture-level listings in Yunnan Province dropped to 16. At the same time, the cloud B license plate has become history. However, in recent years, with the rapid development of Kunming, the provincial capital, Dongchuan District is planning to "withdraw the district and set up a city". There are many stories about zoning adjustment in China. The author will talk to you slowly in future articles.
