Foshan has a profound historical and cultural heritage and is known as the "hometown of top scholars". A "top talent" born in poverty

According to statistics, there were 652 literary champions in China during the period of 1300 years from the opening of the Sui and Tang Dynasties to the end of the Qing Dynasty. Among them, there are 9 literary champions and 5 martial arts champions in Guangdong Province, among which 5 literary champions and 2 martial arts champions are from Foshan, and Lun is one of them.

In the 12th year of Hongzhi in Emperor Xiaozong of Ming Dynasty (1499), Lun Xuwen was the first in the senior high school entrance examination, palace examination was the first, and he was the champion in the senior high school entrance examination. Because Lun Xuwen is clever and good at coping, he is also called "the top scholar of ghosts".

People born in poverty attach great importance to family education. His eldest son, Lun Yihui, was the top scholar of Bingzi in Ming Dynasty and a native of Chenghua, Chen Geng. The second son, Lun Youxun, won the first prize of Zheng De in eight years (15 13), the first prize in 12 years (Huiyuan), and won the second place in palace examination (the second place), and was awarded by the Hanlin Academy. The third son, Lun Yi, Jiajing Jinshi, went to Nanjing Ministry of War to choose a doctor. A father and son are named after Kui Yuance, which is known internationally as "a four-scholar, a father and son are three yuan" and has become a beautiful talk in the local area.

Lun Xuwen's story of starting from scratch in Becoming the First is deeply loved by local people, and countless legends and stories have been derived around this champion, forming a unique champion culture.

It is said that the first specialty food in Guangdong and the first porridge now comes from Lunxuwen. Legend has it that Lun Xuwen was very poor when he was a child, so he had to grow and sell vegetables to make a living, and sometimes he couldn't even afford to eat. The owner of Lun's neighbor porridge shop felt sorry for his youth, so he rolled the leftover pork balls, pork vermicelli and pork liver in rice porridge, and then invited him to eat some ginger onions for free, which made Lun very grateful to the boss. After returning to his hometown as a top student in high school, Lun Xuwen returned to his hometown porridge shop, thanked his boss for his help when he was young, and asked him to cook the kind of porridge he used to eat. This kind of porridge never has a name. The boss asked Len Xuwen to name it. Lun Xuwen named it "the No.1 porridge for the champion" and wrote a plaque for the porridge shop in person. Since then, the "number one porridge" has spread in the Pearl River Delta region and Hong Kong and Macao.

In today's Nanhai District, Foshan City, there is a champion park with Lun as the central figure running through the main line. It is understood that in recent years, on the basis of protecting the traditional monuments in the village, Li Yong Village has carried out the transformation of the old cultural village, vigorously excavating and inheriting the cultural heritage of the champion represented by Lun. From 20 18 to 20 19, Li Chong Village invested about 40 million yuan to restore three municipal cultural relics and more than a dozen traditional buildings in the village, and devoted itself to polishing the brand of "Chongwen goes to school, and Li Chong is the top scholar", and made every effort to build a model of Chongwen going to school in Chancheng District.

Walking into today's Li Yong Primary School, there are all kinds of cartoon stories about Lun Xuwen painted on the school wall, from studying hard at a cold window to teaching your children well, as well as all kinds of anecdotes about Lun Xuwen, which are vivid and interesting. Chen, who has been teaching in primary schools for 24 years, said that the story of studying hard at Lun Hanchuang is worth learning by young students now, and it is necessary to further explore the champion culture represented by Lun. In recent years, Chen has often been invited to attend the opening ceremonies of various schools to introduce the traditional culture of Foshan to students.

He and Chen, the chief planner of the Cultural Champion Village, have the same idea. Since last year, He has cooperated with the village to develop the cultural industry in champion village. "We hope to expand.

The connotation of champion culture begins with children and cultivates their style of study that respects literature and worships Taoism. He introduced that they will take the champion culture as the starting point and combine the characteristics of Foshan Kung Fu City to build a cultural research experience hall with the theme of champion culture, cultivate children's habit of loving learning and reading, and actively exercise.
