Zunyi Meeting refers to an extremely important enlarged meeting held by the Political Bureau of the Central Committee in Zunyi, Guizhou from June 1935 to June 15 10 to June/7. This meeting was held to correct Wang Ming's "Left" leadership when the Red Army failed in its fifth counter-campaign against "encirclement and suppression" and suffered serious setbacks in the early days of the Long March.
