Beijing-harbin railway was once a tool for Japanese, Russian and other imperialists to invade China. After liberation, beijing-harbin railway returned to the people's hands, and the railway technology and equipment were constantly updated, becoming one of the railway trunk lines with the highest train density and capacity in China. In the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, President Mao Zedong paid a historic visit to the Soviet Union through this railway, and Zhongchang Railway Company, with this railway as the main body, made important contributions to the railway management in China.
1994 jingshan coal pressure line change project started. Beijing-harbin railway Tangshan South Railway Station needs to pass through Kailuan coal mine area in the north, passing through 7 stations (about 89 kilometers) including Xugezhuang Station, Tangshan South Railway Station, Beijiadian Station, Zhuanglei Station and Tuozitou Station (now Luanxian Station). Frequent trains put heavy pressure on the mining area, which caused the subgrade to sink. Moreover, after the Tangshan earthquake, the geological environment along the line was seriously damaged, and the railway passed through the coal mining subsidence areas such as Tangshan Mine, Qianying Mine and East No.5 Mine. Therefore, the research on diameter modification began with 1977, and it was not until 1994 that the diameter modification project in Tangshan area of beijing-harbin railway was started, which was called "diameter modification by pressing coal".
After the route change, beijing-harbin railway will pass through Xugezhuang Station-Tangshan Station-Rengezhuang Station-Changzhuang Station in the new area-Langwopu Station (meeting with jinshan railway) to Luanxian Station and other nine new stations (about 68km), and Tangshan Station and Tangshan East Station will be built in the western suburbs of Tangshan. The project was completed on1994165438+10/month1. The original line was renamed as Tangluan Line or Qiluan Line, and the original line Tangshan Station was later renamed as Tangshan South Station, becoming a freight station. At this point, the total length of beijing-harbin railway is1413km.
In June, 2003, in order to cooperate with the transformation of Beijing-Qinhuangdao Railway, the Ministry of Railways transferred the original Jingshan Railway from Langwopu Station to Luanxian Station, Changli Station, Beidaihe Station (about133km, including 15 Station) to Qinhuangdao Station and the original Beijing-Qinhuangdao Railway from Langwopu Station to Qian 'an Station and Lulong Station (about 65,438+).
However, after the rerouting, beijing-harbin railway caused a considerable bend, which greatly limited the passing capacity and speed of the train. In order to cooperate with the Ministry of Railways in running high-speed trains with a maximum speed of 200km/h in beijing-harbin railway and other major railway trunk lines during the sixth speed-up of China Railway, in February 2006, the Beijing-Qinhuangdao Railway, the Qinhuangdao-Shenyang Passenger Dedicated Line and the former Harbin-Shenyang northern section of beijing-harbin railway were merged from 65438+3 1 into a new beijing-harbin railway line with a total length of 1249 km. Via Beijing East Station, Tangshan North Station, Beidaihe Station, Qinhuangdao Station, Shanhaiguan Station, Suizhong North Station, Huludao North Station, Jinzhou South Station, Panjin North Station, Taian Station, Liaozhong Station, Shenyang North Station, Tieling Station, Siping Station and Changchun Station to Harbin Station. At the same time, the former beijing-harbin railway (old line) section from Beijing to Tianjin Nancang was merged into beijing-shanghai railway, the section from Tianjin Nancang Station to Shanhaiguan was renamed as jinshan railway, the section from Shanhaiguan to Shenyang was renamed as shenshan railway, and the section from Shenyang to Shenyang was merged into Shenyang-Dalian Railway. Langwobao Station, Qinhuangdao Station and Shanhaiguan Station have become important hubs for the intersection of Beijing-Harbin and jinshan railway trunk lines.
