Who built Angkor Wat? Does it have anything to do with Atlantis?
Angkor wat:

/kloc-king suliye bamo ii of Angkor in the 0/2nd century hoped to build a magnificent cave temple on the flat ground as the capital and national temple of Angkor. So it took the whole country's efforts, and it took about 35 years to build.

Angkor Wat is the peak of Khmer classical architectural art, which combines two basic layouts of Khmer temple architecture: altar and cloister. The altar consists of three rectangular corridors, which surround the platform of Mount Sumi, and each floor is higher than the other, symbolizing Mount Sumi in Indian mythology, which is located in the center of the world. Five pagodas stand at the top of the altar, arranged in a five-point plum blossom pattern, symbolizing the five peaks of Xumi Mountain. A moat surrounds the temple, symbolizing the Aral Sea around Mount Sumi.

Atlantis, right? You dialed the wrong number? Atlantis, I think. ...

Atlantis, a legendary highly civilized country, an empire that disappeared without a trace overnight.

For thousands of years, many historians have been arguing about the existence of Atlantis, and archaeologists have been looking for traces of it.

So what attracted people to pay so much attention to Atlantis? What kind of country is Atlantis?

In 350 BC, a book called Dialogue was circulated in ancient Greece. The author of this book is the great Greek philosopher Plato.

Plato is a student of the philosopher Socrates. He is famous for advocating the philosophy of benevolent government and is also the founder of western philosophy.

In the dialogue, Plato first described a mysterious country in the form of dialogue: Atlantis.

Legend has it that Poseidon, the sea god, was the first person to create the kingdom of Atlantis, and some people called it Daxie.

Plato mentioned Atlantis for the first time in the dialogue.

Plato wrote in his book: Atlantis has not only magnificent palaces and temples, but also huge sacred places for sacrifice.

Plato said that the Atlanteans had unimaginable wealth. Atlantis was honest and kind at first, with extraordinary wisdom and carefree life. However, with the passage of time, Atlanteans began to be full of inflated ambitions, and they began to send troops to conquer neighboring countries.

Their lives became more and more corrupt, and their endless extravagance and moral decay finally angered the gods. As a result, Zeus, the king of gods, brought earthquakes and floods to Daxi Island overnight, and Atlantis was finally swallowed up by the sea and disappeared into the unfathomable sea.

Plato only used 18 pages to describe Atlantis, a magical country, but this story has aroused great interest from archaeologists, scientists and historians. So, is Atlantis described by Plato a true story? On what basis did he write this story?

Historians found through research that Plato was not the initiator of the story of Atlantis.

As early as 200 years before Plato wrote this story, Solon, a famous politician in ancient Greece, once told this story. Solon heard it from an Egyptian priest, and the priest told Solon that the story was true and credible. The story of Atlantis, from word of mouth to Plato, has existed for more than 9000 years. Although Plato only described the story according to legends, he firmly believed that Atlantis was a real history, and the paradise-like description of Atlantis in the book also made people think that Atlantis did exist at that time.

In the19th century, some mysterious prophets who claimed to be able to see the past told people that Atlantis not only existed, but also had very advanced technology and culture. These imaginative descriptions add to the mysterious atmosphere of Atlantis.

Historians and archaeologists are not the only ones looking for this lost empire. 193 1 year, the German Nazis organized an unprecedented expedition to find Atlantis, and the commander of this expedition was German Nazi officer Himmler. Himmler believes that if Atlantis is found, it can rule the world with its supernatural power.

Poseidon entrusted Atlantis to his ten sons.

1932, German Nazi anthropologists were sent all over the world to find this legendary superior nation, with no results.

As early as 65438+70s, Verne's science fiction novel Two Wan Li under the Sea became popular all over the world. In this novel, explorers in submarines discovered the ruins of Atlantis. This magical description in the book aroused American Connery's great interest, which made him determine his future life goal-to find the lost Atlantis.

1882, Connery's new book Atlantis was published, which is the result of Connery's research on Atlantis for more than ten years.

Connery believed that Atlantis really existed. In his book, he analyzed in detail the situation after the sinking of Atlantis. He believes that the refugees who escaped from Atlantis are gradually scattered around the world. They have created many indigenous civilizations, and these civilizations have amazing similarities, that is, the pyramid phenomenon.

Although the Egyptian pyramids, the Mayan pyramids and similar pyramids in Angkor Wat in Cambodia were all built thousands of years ago, their architectural styles are strikingly similar.

Connery pointed out that Plato mentioned in his dialogue that there were many tall and pointed buildings in Atlantis. So Connery thinks that the pyramids all over the world originated in Atlantis.

However, some historical geographers do not agree with Connery's "pyramid inheritance theory". They believe that the above-mentioned landform features are similar to architectural styles, which can only be coincidental and unconvincing. Moreover, the key question is where to find the lost Atlantis. Only by finding Atlantis can we uncover all the truth.

To this end, a professor at the University of Chicago in the United States put forward his own views. He thinks that Atlantis described by Plato is probably in Tiwanaku, under the Andes in South America.

I don't think they have anything to do with each other. ...
