And the sculpture era is divided into three periods: early, middle and late. In the early Northern Wei Dynasty, the carved image was Fiona Fang, with full cheeks, deep eyes and straight nose, which had the artistic style of ancient India. The middle period is the Tang and Song Dynasties, with plump face, exquisite facial features, natural posture and dynamic. In the late Ming and Qing dynasties, sculpture was also very distinctive. Some of the stone carvings collected by Heshui Ancient Stone Carving Art Museum are tall and majestic, some are small and exquisite, and some are also equipped with Buddhist stories and ancient music playing patterns.
