Train Z 126 adopts 25T passenger cars, belonging to Fuzhou Depot of China Railway Nanchang Bureau Group Co., Ltd., and consists of 18 sections, including five hard-seat cars, hard-sleeper cars 10 sections, soft-sleeper cars 1 sections and dining cars.

There has never been a train from Xiamen to Gansu, so it is very inconvenient for railway passengers to transfer in Zhengzhou and Fuzhou. 201May 20th, in line with the fine-tuning train diagram of China Railway, Nanchang Railway Bureau started Z 126/ 127 and Z 128/ 125 trains from Xiamen to Lanzhou, passing through Nanchang, Luoyang, Xi 'an, Baoji and Lanzhou.
