The Historical Development of Hakka Culture in Taiwan Province
Historically, Hakkas have experienced five large-scale migration movements. With the development of 1600 years, the total number of Hakkas at home and abroad has reached more than 65.6 million, about 55120,000 in Chinese mainland 17 province, 5.95 million in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and 4.54 million in 84 overseas countries and regions.
