The museum is equipped with nine electronic computers, including six full-set microfilm cameras and five photocopiers. It is also equipped with modern equipment such as constant temperature and humidity air conditioning system, automatic fire alarm system, automatic gas fire extinguishing system and TV monitoring system. 1980 opened more than 500,000 volumes of archives to government agencies, organizations, military units, schools and scientific research units, and 1989 opened 85,000 volumes of archives to the public. The library has a 220-seat reading room and a reading room for consulting files, providing services such as copying, microfilming, photographing and consulting. From 1979 to 1990, more than 64,000 file users were received, more than 37,000 volumes of files were read, and more than 72,000 copies of files were copied/kloc-0. Since 1980, the archives of Sichuan Provincial Archives, Selected Archives of Sichuan Road Protection Movement, Selected Archives of Sichuan Religious Plans and Boxer Movement, Selected Archives of Kuomintang Army Pursuing the Red Army Long March (Sichuan Part), Selected Newspaper Materials of Sichuan-Shaanxi Soviet Area, Selected Historical Materials of Sichuan Workers' Movement and Selected Archives of Ganjia in Qing Dynasty have been published.
