Anecdotal allusions:
The grave was dug.
Li's tomb was destroyed as early as 1966, leaving only rubbings of inscriptions. Li died three years ago at the age of 63. At this time, the Qing dynasty, which lasted for more than 200 years, has been tottering, and its demise is only a matter of time.
During the Cultural Revolution, Li's grave was excavated and a teacher was appointed to clean it. As a result, when he opened the coffin, he found that there was only one head and a long braid in his coffin, and the body disappeared for no reason, and the specific whereabouts could not be verified.
However, Li's epitaph describes his body completely. The biggest possibility is that he committed too many crimes before his death, which led to his beheading after his death. Sadly, today, the archives of the Qing court still keep Li's "buried with a head and no body" file.
