Dongdaemun was built in 1985. Many cypresses and cedars are planted in the park. The main facilities are "Hope" sculpture and antique city walls. There are toy facilities, such as children's playground, curved slide, horse-shaped swivel chair, boat ride, swing and umbrella.

1993, the garden department contracted the children's park and began to operate independently and be responsible for its own profits and losses. After years of development and improvement, amusement facilities such as ferris wheel, zoo, bumper car, high-altitude plane and double flight have been added, and the recreational function of the park has been further improved, receiving more than 654.38+million visitors annually. Children's Culture Week has been held every year since 1993.

1999-2004 hosted the 14- 19 chrysanthemum exhibition, which became a cultural and entertainment place for Heze citizens to deal with their thoughts.
