Zhang Juzheng-some interesting excerpts.
Zhang Juzheng is the second historical novel I have read since The Ming Dynasty. I think it's better to strike while the iron is hot and learn more about that history, even in the form of novels. Fortunately, this novel is fluent in writing and profound in perspective. The following five paragraphs are recorded, some of which I think are very meaningful, and some of which I think can help me understand history.

This is a fairly clear statement about authority that I have ever seen:

Shao Daxia is a person with strong connections, enough to subvert the status of records. This passage was written by Shao Daxia, who saw everything clearly, when Zhang finally wanted to find a confidant to solve this person.

I really like this passage, which is similar to what I believed before.

This passage explains the twenty-four flowers in the old saying: "Three thousand world twenty-four flowers come to Revlon".

This passage describes that after his death, Emperor Wanli eradicated Zhang. From the description of the imperial edict, we can see the emperor's heart of war.
