Legend has it that this sword of too much love is quite famous. Tai Ai Jian is one of the three swords cast by Ou Yezi for the King of Chu when he was in Longquan. There was always a process of casting swords in ancient China, so by the end of the Spring and Autumn Period and the beginning of the Warring States Period, the strength of Chu was still relatively strong. Chu is prescient. Chu introduced advanced sword casting technology from Wu and Vietnam, and with the improvement of technology in other countries, its sword casting technology has been further improved. Therefore, the iron sword made in Chu has always been famous for its sharpness!
A long time ago, Zhao Haoqi of Qin expressed his inner worries to Fan Ju, the prime minister of Qin: "I heard that the iron sword of Chu is good ... my husband's iron sword is good, but it is brave ... I am afraid of Chu's plan." Thus, the king of Qin has long coveted Chu Jian, and he wants to own Chu Jian. Later, in the sixth year of the King of Qin, Zhao Pang joined forces with Zhao, Chu, Yan, Wei and Han to attack the State of Qin and was repelled. Chu was afraid of Qin, so Qin Shihuang was able to get this sword, probably because the king of Qin got the Tai 'a sword during this time.
And it is with this sword that Qin Shihuang can save his life. In the book Biography of Assassins, Sima Qian vividly described the scene when Jing Ke stabbed Qin: In order to gain the trust of the king of Qin, Jing Ke took the opportunity to show a map of Yan State to Qin Shihuang. As soon as Jing Ke approached the King of Qin, his dagger was exposed, so Jing Ke grabbed Qin Shihuang's sleeve with his left hand and stabbed him with his right hand. Qin Shihuang was scared to death. When Qin Shihuang hid, he didn't expect the sleeves of his clothes to be torn. Anxious to save his life, Qin Shihuang drew his sword, but he couldn't pull it out because the sword Qin Shihuang wore was too long. This made Qin Shihuang, who was already afraid, even more afraid, so Qin Shihuang drew his sword while running. Like an eagle catching a chicken, Qin Shihuang ran around the pillar, followed by Jing Ke. But Qin Shihuang still failed to pull out his sword. Finally, the stunned minions shouted: Your Majesty, take your sword and pull it out! This shows that this sword is really long!
So Qin Shihuang used this sword and waved several swords, killing Jing Ke and saving his noble life. When the terracotta warriors and horses of Qin Shihuang were excavated, archaeologists found a very special bronze sword in the pit. According to experts' accurate measurement, the length of this sword actually exceeds 9 1 cm! Archaeologists and historians speculate that the long sword worn by Qin Shihuang at that time may be this lengthened bronze sword.
In fact, in the fighting of cold weapons, the long sword is good, and its lethality will be stronger, but it will be more difficult to draw the sword, which is why it is difficult for Qin Shihuang to quickly pull out a sword nearly one meter in pursuit of Jing Ke, and he almost lost his life because he couldn't pull it out for a long time.
