1, Edison
Edison only attended primary school for three months in his life, and his knowledge was acquired by his mother's teaching and self-study. His success is attributed to his mother's patient teaching since childhood, which made Edison, who was originally considered an imbecile, become a world-famous invention king when he grew up.
Edison was curious about things since he was a child and liked to try it himself until he understood the profound truth. When he grew up, he devoted himself to research and invention according to his interest in this field. He left a laboratory in his hometown, and doctors invented electric lights, telegraphs, phonographs, film machines, magnetic machines, shredders and so on, totaling more than 2,000 kinds of things. Edison's strong research spirit made him make great contributions to improving human life style.
The biggest waste is wasting time. Edison often told his assistant that life is short, so he should try his best to do more with little time.
2. Einstein
People around him regard him as an "imbecile": at the age of four, he could not speak, was born with dyslexia, and was mentally retarded ... even in primary school, he could not study normally. His mother taught him knowledge, so that he barely got into a university, but dropped out of school because of poor grades.
Einstein was only 30 years old when he tried to work as an information clerk in the patent office. However, at the age of 37, he put forward the general theory of relativity and started a new academic era. According to his scientific theory, human beings have changed the basic necessities of life of modern people.
From intellectual defects to great physicists, Einstein's experience tells us that life has no end, no matter what you are now, you can become another you through learning.
Academic performance:
On June 8, 2020, the Nobel Prize officially announced Einstein's report card when he was studying in a high school in Arau, Switzerland. In the grading standards at that time, 6 was the highest score and 1 was the lowest score. According to the report card, Einstein got 6 points in algebra, geometry, projection geometry, physics and history.
German language and literature, Italian language and literature, natural history, chemistry and other subjects scored 5 points, geography, painting, industrial drawing also scored 4 points, and the worst was French language and literature, with only 3 points. Generally speaking, Einstein made outstanding achievements in high school, both in arts and sciences. Later, he entered the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland with excellent results.
The secret of success:
Einstein often told people that learning time is a constant, but its efficiency is a variable. It is unwise to simply pursue study time. The most important thing is to improve learning efficiency. He believes that only through cultural and sports activities can we gain abundant energy and keep a clear head. Einstein also summed up a formula according to his own personal experience, that is, A = X+Y+Z Y+Z.
A stands for success, X stands for the right method, Y stands for hard work, and Z stands for less nonsense. He summed up the content of this formula in two sentences: the combination of work and rest is the ladder of success, and cherishing time is an important condition for making achievements.
