Mother's Teaching Hall is the first monograph on preschool education in history, which discusses the importance of preschool education, prenatal education and the contents of preschool education in detail. Although this book discusses preschool education under family conditions, it later gave important enlightenment to Froebel, the founder of kindergarten, and formed the central idea of his preschool education theory.

Comenius was a famous Czech patriot, educational reformer and educational theorist in the17th century. His masterpiece "The School for Childcare" has a great influence on the development of world education theory. It is considered to be the first monograph on early childhood education in the history of foreign education. Comenius believes that parents and teachers should start education when their children are young, educate their children from the aspects of morality, behavior, speech, intellectual education, physical education and moral education, and put them under the control of teachers at an appropriate time.
