1905 China's first film was born in Beijing. "Dingjun Mountain" starring Ren Qingtai and Tan Xinpei, founders of Beijing Fengtai Photo Studio. 1905 12.28 was filmed in Fengtai Photo Studio, Beijing, and screened in the Daguanlou, Qianmen.

Dingjun Mountain is the first film made by China people themselves. Photographed in Fengtai Photo Studio in Beijing, screened in the Grand View Building in Qianmen. The film is directed by Ren Qingtai and starring Tan Xinpei. The film was released in China (Qing Dynasty) on February 28th, 905, ending the history that there was no domestic film in China.

The film Dingjun Mountain is based on the 70th and 7 1 chapters of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and tells the story of the war between Shu and Wei during the Three Kingdoms period. Tan Xinpei, a famous veteran of Beijing Opera, performed some of his best works in front of the camera. The film was then shown in the bustling crowd of the Grand View Building in Qianmen.
