The Tang Dynasty was followed by the Song Dynasty.

Tang Dynasty: AD 6 18-907.

Five Dynasties: 907-960 AD, Hou Liang, Later Tang Dynasty, Later Jin Dynasty, Later Han Dynasty and Later Zhou Dynasty.

Ten countries: ad 89 1-979.

The Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms is a great division period in the history of China.

The Five Dynasties refer to the five regimes in the Central Plains that changed in turn after the collapse of the Tang Dynasty in 907, namely, Hou Liang, the later Tang Dynasty, the later Jin Dynasty, the later Han Dynasty and the later Zhou Dynasty. In 960, Zhao Kuangyin launched a mutiny in Chen Qiao in the later Zhou Dynasty. After usurping the throne in the latter Zhou Dynasty, the Northern Song Dynasty was established, and the Five Dynasties ended.

The Tang Dynasty (6 18-907) was a unified dynasty after the Sui Dynasty, which experienced 2/kloc-0 emperors and enjoyed the country for 289 years. It is also called, because the royal family name is Li, and it is considered as one of the most powerful times in China.
