What did the Tang Dynasty experience in history, from the rule of Zhenguan to the rebellion of Anshi?
Let's talk about the first half from the death of Emperor Taizong Li Shimin to the succession of Emperor Xuanzong Li Longji, that is, from the death of Emperor Taizong Li Shimin to the succession of Emperor Xuanzong Li Longji.

Peter said that after Li Shimin's death, he was succeeded by Prince Li Zhi, and Li Zhi was a gentle and soft-hearted emperor.

In the early days of his succession, he continued to carry forward the policy of governing the country of his father, Emperor Taizong, and destroyed western Turkic and Koguryo, further expanding the territory of the Tang Dynasty, and was assisted by Sun Chang Wuji, Chu Suiliang and other good ministers. On the basis of "the rule of Zhenguan", he created "the rule of eternal emblem"

However, a few years later, Emperor Li Zhi of the Emperor Gaozong became unwell, and his rights gradually transferred from his own hands to Wu Zetian's.

Although after the death of Emperor Gaozong, Zhongzong and Zong Rui succeeded to the throne one after another, it was difficult to confront Wu Zetian.

Although both of them made great achievements during their reign, it seems that they can all see a little shadow of Wu Zetian.

This is a foreshadowing that needs special records.

Just say Wu Zetian.

After Wu Zetian came to power, she actually did some practical things, such as rectifying bureaucracy, selecting talents and encouraging farming and mulberry.

In history, Wu Zetian's achievements are also affirmed, saying that during her reign, she was "open-minded and determined to be great."

In other words, she carried forward the rule of Zhenguan and laid the foundation for Xuanzong's prosperous new century.

But Wu Zetian founded Da Zhou and persecuted the imperial clan of Tang Dynasty, including her own son.

However, Wu Zetian has special respect for his grandson Li Longji.

Because, at that time, Wu Zetian's clan, such as Wu Sansi, was very influential in the DPRK, which led to the imperial clan in the Tang Dynasty not daring to quarrel with Wu's disciples.

However, only the young ones still have some backbone and reprimanded the Wu disciples. Probably: This court and the world belong to my Li family. What does it have to do with your surname Wu?

This story reached the ears of Wu Zetian, who appreciated her grandson very much. Wu Zetian, who is probably used to being strong, really doesn't like the cowardice of her sons. Suddenly having such a bloody grandson, Wu Zetian will certainly value it.

This is another foreshadowing.

But summing up this passage, we can see that during the period from Emperor Taizong, Zhongzong, Zong Rui to Wu Zetian, the Tang Dynasty was very powerful and the overall performance was good.

After Xuanzong ascended the throne, we should first know that Zongrui was able to claim the throne again because his son Li Longji and his sister Princess Taiping organized a coup.

After becoming emperor, Zong Rui also tried to unite Princess Taiping against the forces of Prince Li Longji, but the result was obvious and not very good.

So Zong Rui stepped back to Li Longji in a few years. At this point, Xuanzong Li Longji officially became the emperor.

After Emperor Xuanzong ascended the throne, he decisively gave his aunt Princess Taiping a death, consolidated and developed the political economy of the Tang Dynasty, and appointed talents such as Yao Chong and Song Jing to create a "prosperous new century" in one fell swoop.

At that time, the Tang Dynasty reached another peak after the rule of Zhenguan.

However, in the late Xuanzong period, he began to be passive, liked to be sought after by people, and was addicted to women.

For example, he robbed his daughter-in-law, favored the treacherous court official Yang and Li, used the general An Lushan beyond the Great Wall, listened to the rumors of his concubine, and killed his three sons.

With the unremitting efforts of Yang and Li and the laissez-faire of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty, the state affairs began to be chaotic, and An Lushan, the frontier, took the opportunity to stir.

Finally, the famous "An Shi Rebellion" broke out in history.

At this point, it was staged: Ma Xiepo mutiny and eight-year Anshi rebellion, and the Tang Dynasty began to turn from prosperity to decline.
