When you want to eat raw fish, it is cold and frozen, so you can take off your clothes and lie on the ice. The ice suddenly dissolved on its own, and the double carp jumped out and returned to its mother. Wang Xiang of the Jin Dynasty lost his mother in his early years, and his stepmother Zhu was unkind. She often tells her father about Wang Xiang, thus losing his love. One winter, her stepmother Zhu was ill and wanted to eat carp. But because it was cold and the river was frozen, Wang Xiang lay naked on the ice and prayed. Suddenly, the ice cracked and two carp jumped out of the crack. Wang Xiangxi went back to worship his stepmother. His behavior is a much-told story in Shili Village. People all praise Wang Xiang as a rare dutiful son in the world. There is a poem praising: there is a stepmother in the world, but Wang Xiang doesn't; There are still ice molds on the river so far.
The story takes place in Baishabu Town, north of Linyi City. An east-west river winds through the town for several miles. It is not an ordinary river, but bears the long history of China's fine tradition of filial piety for thousands of years. It is the place where the story of Wang Xiang lying on the ice looking for carp happened: the river. Xiaohe, named after the carp lying in Wangxiang, also known as Xiaogan River, is located in Baishabu Town, lanshan district. According to Linyi County Records, Wang Xiang was lying on the ice, begging for carp (as evidenced by a stone tablet).
Xiao River originates from Taohualing at the southern foot of Chashan Mountain, flows through Xiaoyou Village in the southeast, and joins Yihe River in Zhuge Village.
Nine-hole lotus root has a filial piety hole-in addition to being famous for "lying on the ice to find carp" in "King Xiang", white lotus root produced by Xiaohe is also a major feature, especially famous for its fat, thin, tender, crisp and sweet. During Xianfeng period of Qing Dynasty, Xiaohe white lotus root was designated as a royal tribute. Interestingly, Xiaohe lotus root is different from other places, not only crisp and delicious, but also has one more hole than other places, which is nine holes. It is said that this is Wang Xiang's filial piety, and the extra hole is "filial piety".

"Filial piety is a fine tradition of the Chinese nation. As long as someone has it, there must be. When I first wanted to rebuild the filial piety temple, I mainly thought of the warning function of education to future generations and the promotion of' filial piety culture'. There are seven articles in Twenty-four Filial Pieties from Linyi, and the story of Wang Xiang lying on the ice begging for carp has been pushed to the top of the most far-reaching Twenty-four Filial Pieties. Wang Xiang's filial piety has standardized people's thoughts and behaviors for thousands of years, and has become a much-told story in history.
