Huaying Mountain has a glorious revolutionary history. In 1930s and 1940s, it was the base of armed struggle between Huaying Mountain underground party and Huaying Mountain guerrillas. Every inch of Huaying Mountain is engraved with the heroic deeds of revolutionary martyrs who shed their heads and shed their blood. A novel "Red Rock" made Huaying Mountain famous overseas, and the legendary story of "Two Guns Old Woman" is still widely circulated around the world. Huaying Mountain Scenic Area has the scenery of Yinshan Snow, Baoding Dawn and Tianchi Lake Light. Poets such as Li Bai, Du Fu and Lu You all wrote poems here. Proved caves are said to be rare at home and abroad.

Huaying Mountain is vast, ancient, magical, mountainous and majestic. She is a majestic mountain, a heroic mountain. Huaying Mountain starts from the southern foot of Daba Mountain in the north and reaches Jiangjin City in Chongqing in the south. It spans Sichuan and Chongqing provinces and cities and 15 counties (cities, districts) from north to south, stretching for more than 300 kilometers. It is a huge natural green barrier in the middle of Sichuan Basin. Huaying Mountain enters the urban area of Guang 'an from the south of Quxian County, and it is about 80 kilometers long in Guang 'an, which is the highest and most majestic section of Huaying Mountain. There are not only rich underground resources, magical and beautiful natural scenery, profound and long-standing Buddhist culture, rare folk customs of the Southern Song Dynasty and revolutionary culture renowned at home and abroad, but also a natural monument that stands tall in the Sichuan Basin, forever engraved with the great achievements of Qian Qian, the hero and son of Huaying Mountain.

Huaying Mountain Baoding Scenic Area is located in Xikou Town. There are Guangming Temple (1958 was partially destroyed, 1966 was demolished, and 1992 was restored to 1994), Qianfoping Stone Forest, and Eight Scenes (Huayin Snow, Baoding Li Anyun and Huaying Mountain are majestic, dangerous, strange and secluded). The highest peak (Gaodeng Ancient Temple) is 1704. 1 m above sea level, which is the highest peak in Sichuan Basin. Baoding, the second peak, with an altitude of1590.8m, is one of the eight Buddhist holy places in China.
