Where's Torringi?

Tuolin Temple is located at No.0/50 Lindong Street, Zhujing Town, Jinshan District, Shanghai, formerly known as Kannonji. It was founded by monks from Yuan Dynasty to Dayuan (1308) and has a history of nearly 700 years. In the second year of Qing Dynasty (13 13), it was changed to Tolin Temple, which is the largest single building in Punan area.

1987 A surviving temple in Tuolin Temple was listed as a municipal cultural relics protection unit by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government. It was rebuilt and expanded in 2007 and officially opened to tourists in September. It has been rebuilt and has the largest indoor Buddha statue in Asia, about 34 meters high. Donglinfang, the business circle around Tolin Temple, has also begun to take shape.

Golden wishing bridge: When you stroll into the garden, you will see the golden wishing bridge at first sight. The whole bridge is made of high quality copper. The bridge deck is decorated with exquisite bronze carvings in the traditional style of China, with vivid shapes and unique elegance of Chinese classical style. On both sides of the bridge, there is a bronze bell and drum tower pioneered by China, with a symmetrical pattern. Directly into the garden, you can see a thousand giant buddhas more than 20 meters high, and thousands of small buddhas are engraved on the facade. It can really be described as "a thousand miles of Buddha sound."

Bell and Drum Tower: It is the main palace-style building of Tolin Temple, with double eaves on all sides. It is unique in ancient times, with vigorous colors and extremely magnificent. The two bronze halls stand opposite each other, both with gold-plated bronze roofs. There is a bronze bell and a bronze drum in the hall, which is the first pair of bronze bell and drum towers in China. The whole hall is elegant and chic, and when it is sunny on weekdays, it shines directly into the whole hall, resplendent and unique.
