Shangba Township is located in the northernmost part of Yunyang County, Chongqing, bordering fengjie county in the east, Shashi Town in the south and Wuxi County in the west and north, with an area of 7 1.6 square kilometers. Jurisdiction 1 community, 5 administrative villages, 33 village (residential) groups, population 39 14 households, 1288 people. The township government is located in Liang Shi community, with a distance of 108km from the new county, with an average elevation of 1000m or more, and belongs to a remote mountain town in Yunyang county. Shangba has fertile soil, no industrial pollution, high grain yield and particularly good taste, and has been designated as a high-yield demonstration base for virus-free potatoes and corn of 10,000 mu by the Ministry of Agriculture. The township's animal husbandry has developed rapidly and the meat quality is good, especially the bacon is famous both inside and outside the county, and the supply exceeds the demand all the year round. The territory is rich in coal mines, pyrite, marble and other mineral deposits, with great development potential.
