Is there a eunuch named Yang in history?
Yang Sixu (AD 654-AD 740) was a eunuch in Xuanzong period of Tang Dynasty. A native of Shicheng, Luozhou (now Lianjiang, Guangdong), whose real name is Su, entered the palace since childhood, was adopted by eunuch Yang, and later changed his surname. Following Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty to quell the palace coup, he was promoted to General Zuo Hu. During the Kaiyuan period, he successively put down the rebellions of Annan, Wu Qin, Liang Hai and Chen, and repeatedly made meritorious military service, so he was Xuanzong's right-hand man. Specializing in conquering, he was favored by Gao Lishi. Brave as he is, he is also fierce and cruel to prisoners. In March of the 28th year of Kaiyuan, Ren Yin got married in Li Yishan, Chang 'an in the Spring and Autumn Period.
