1On June 25th, 950, the Korean War broke out. On June 28th, the Korean People's Army captured Seoul, and the South Korean army was losing ground. After the war broke out, US President Truman ordered his air force stationed in the Far East China Sea and ground troops stationed in Li Chengwan to participate in the war to support the Japanese regime. At the same time, the United States manipulated the United Nations Security Council to pass a resolution, set up a United Nations army headed by the United States, and expanded its armed intervention in North Korea. Britain, France and other countries 15 sent troops to fight in Korea.

At the beginning of the war, the Korean People's Army won a great victory and controlled 90% of the southern region. However, on September 15, the US military dispatched more than 300 warships, more than 500 planes and more than 40,000 troops to land in Incheon. The occupation of Seoul on the 30th cut off the link between the People's Army and the rear, and the Korean People's Army was forced to make a strategic retreat. Subsequently, the U.S. military advanced northward, and the war was burned to the Yalu River, which seriously threatened the security of China.

Under the serious threat, the China government decided to send volunteers to fight in the DPRK. 1950101On October 25th, China sent troops into the DPRK to fight against the powerful United States together with the Korean People's Army. By June 1953 and 10, the armies of North Korea and China had fought five major battles in succession, repelling the armies of the United States and North Korea and stabilizing the front line of the 38th parallel. The United States was forced to sit down and negotiate a truce with China and North Korea. 1951July 10, Korean armistice negotiations began in Seoul. But the two sides did not stop on the battlefield. The two armies of China and North Korea carried out "tunnel warfare" on the 250-kilometer front, which successfully stopped the US military's attack. The U.S. government had to sign the Korean Armistice Agreement in Panmunjom on July 27th, 1953. The actual contact line between the two sides is determined by 38 north latitude as the military demarcation line.

The Korean War was a large-scale local war after World War II. It lasted for three years. In this war, the United States used 1/3 of the army, 1/5 of the air force and 1/2 of the navy, and used all modern weapons except bullets. However, under the tenacious counterattack of the Chinese and Korean soldiers and civilians, the US military failed. The victory of the Korean War guaranteed the security of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and China, and greatly inspired the Asian-African national liberation movement.
