I was deeply impressed by the Shuangci Pavilion in Fengshan District. Next to Shuangcige is the post office, and there are various shops and food stalls nearby. The appearance of Shuangcige is antique, and the statues and auspicious animals on the cornices are beautifully carved and lifelike. As soon as you walk into Shuangcige, you can see many myths and legends portrayed on the wall, which are fascinating.
According to legend, Shuangci Pavilion was built in Qing Dynasty. Originally revered as Guanyin Bodhisattva, the Qiandian was later built to worship Mazu. In order to appreciate the compassion of Guanyin Bodhisattva and Mazu, the original name "Tianhou Palace" was renamed "Shuangting Pavilion". Now Shuangcige is an ancient temple with flourishing incense and a county-level monument.
We should take good care of historical sites, which are the traces left by our ancestors and are priceless. If there are no monuments, how can we know the ancient legends and the great monuments of our ancestors? If there are no historical sites, how can we understand ancient cultures and customs? Caring for historical sites can pass on history from generation to generation.
