According to the Catalogue of Undergraduate Majors in Colleges and Universities (20 15) issued by the Ministry of Education, Chinese belongs to literature major and history belongs to history major. Literature majors include language and literature, art, journalism and communication, and history majors include history, archaeology and ethnology, which do not belong to the same undergraduate major category. Undergraduate course is the basic part of higher education, which is implemented by universities or colleges. Few higher vocational colleges have developed applied undergraduate education.
