What do you mean by scholarly Yanjing?
Scholars and Yanjing refer to Beijing with historical and cultural background.

"Shuxiang" means that the ancients put a kind of rue herb in the book to prevent moths from biting the book. This herb has a clear fragrance, and books with this herb have a fragrance after opening, so it is called "book fragrance". Yanjing is an old name in Beijing.

Scholarly Yanjing, focusing on the bumpy dream-chasing process of China people in modern times and the profound enlightenment of the brilliant achievements made since the founding of New China, especially in the 30 years of reform and opening up, has widely mobilized college students to tell about the changes around them and the social changes they have witnessed.

It is said that the earliest origin of "reading" is because this grass-flying plant can kill bookworms because of its fragrance. Literati who love books as much as their lives put grass flying in books, which are called "reading" because of the other incense.

The famous Tianyige Library is known as "the book without moths", which is said to be because there are weeds in every book. Because of the affinity between rutting and books, other things related to weeds have become titles related to books. For example, the bookkeeper of an ancient school had a nice name: "Ruxiangli".

The poet Bai Juyi once served as this official. There is always grass in the library, and there are such sayings as "cloud window", "cloud department" and "cloud province" in the study.

For example, in the Tang Dynasty, Xu Jian's "Beginners" said: "If incense is made of paper fish, the book collection desk is also called Yuntai." These words all contain a hint of scholarly atmosphere, expressing people's admiration for scholarly style, cultural aesthetics and noble spirit.
