Hangzhou Metro Line 5 is the fourth subway line put into operation in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. It is operated by Hangzhou Hanggang Metro Line 5 Co., Ltd., and the first section was opened on June 24, 20 19, and the second section was opened on April 23, 2020. The line logo color is cyan.
As of September, 2022, Hangzhou Metro Line 5 starts from Jinxing Station in Yuhang District and ends at Gongqiao Station in Xiaoshan District, passing through six districts, namely Yuhang District, Xihu District, Gongshu District, Shangcheng District, Binjiang District and Xiaoshan District, with a roughly zigzag trend.
As of September 2022, the total length of Hangzhou Metro Line 5 is about 56.2 1 km, with 39 underground stations. There are four mobile cars, two trailers and six cars.
Historical significance:
After the opening of the first section of Hangzhou Metro Line 5, the operating mileage of Hangzhou Metro increased to 135.3 km, and the subway network covered Shangtang, Chen Gong Bridge, Xiaohe, Harmony and Xiangfu in Gongshu District for the first time.
Jiangcun in Xihu District, Wuchang and Cang Qian blocks in Yuhang District, and the "blank" history of dense subway in the north of Hangzhou City came to an end. The development of science and technology corridors in the northwest of the city will be more powerful, and citizens will travel more quickly and comfortably.
