In the long history of China, there are also many people who have devoted their lives to the country. Huang Lingyi regards everything in the country as more important than anything else.
Even when she is old, she will continue to fight for her country. Finally, she made China's own chip, which made the country no longer depend on other countries for this technology. It can be said that she is a real national hero and an example for the younger generation to learn.
Careful research and team building of the first domestic microcomputer
Huang Lingyi 1936 was born in Nanning, Guangxi, but she didn't catch up with a good era. At that time, the country was in turmoil and her growth environment was not good.
Huang Lingyi's family condition is not very good. In order to go to school, she found a local communist youth league secretary, hoping to give her some help. Later, Huang Lingyi studied hard and successfully passed Huazhong University of Science and Technology. It was this decision that made Huang Lingyi have a meaningful life.
After graduating from school, Huang Lingyi chose to continue her studies in Tsinghua University. At that time, the country attached great importance to scientific development and vigorously cultivated scientific talents. At this time, Huang Lingyi also chose the semiconductor major for research.
This major is different from other majors. At that time, there was no special semiconductor major in China, and no teacher had corresponding semiconductor experience. For a long time, only Huang Lingyi was doing experiments on tiny diodes in the laboratory.
Therefore, Huang Lingyi founded the semiconductor specialty in Huazhong Institute of Technology on 1960, and set up a special laboratory, which was the beginning of semiconductor research in China.
Two years later, Huang Lingyi went to the Institute of Computing Technology of Chinese Academy of Sciences to engage in scientific research. At that time, the Institute of Computing Technology of Chinese Academy of Sciences was established shortly. It is the first academic institution in China that specializes in comprehensive research of computer science and technology. China devoted himself to a series of research work when he didn't have his own microcomputer or even microelectronics.
At that time, China's computer technology was 10 years behind the advanced country China, so the arduous task of building the first microcomputer in China fell on Huang Lingyi and her colleagues. It is conceivable how much pressure Huang Lingyi suffered at that time.
Since then, Huang Lingyi has devoted himself to semiconductor research and microcomputer manufacturing. The whole team worked overtime and worked day and night in their posts, overcoming one problem after another.
Finally, in 1966, Huang Lingyi and his colleagues developed the first microcomputer "156 extension" in China. This computer is the first guidance computer used in the control system of long-range launch vehicle in China, with small volume and light weight.
Can work continuously and stably in various harsh environments. It can be said that it was very advanced technology at that time, and it also solved many scientific problems for the country.
Huang Lingyi was highly praised by all parties, but she did not stop, but continued to fight in the career she loved.
At the age of 66, he still insists on clearing the shame for his country.
Although he has made some achievements in his own field, learning is like sailing against the current. If you don't advance, you will retreat. Whenever Huang Lingyi continues to learn knowledge, he will enrich himself and achieve higher achievements.
1989 One day, an international chip exhibition was held. Huang Lingyi, who was still working in the United States at that time, got the news and rushed here.
Because this opportunity is rare, you can not only see many excellent chips on display in the world, but also communicate with many outstanding talents in this field. But what Huang Lingyi didn't expect was that this exhibition changed her mind and her later life.
At the exhibition, Huang Lingyi saw excellent chips from all over the world on display. While Huang Lingyi lamented these outstanding achievements, she also found that none of these chips came from her own country, which is undoubtedly a shame.
China, an independent and powerful country, should have certain advantages in all aspects, but China's achievements in the field of chips are actually zero, which makes Huang Lingyi fall into deep thinking.
Huang Lingyi thought about the development of China chips in recent years. Although computers in China have developed, they can't all be original by China. What is even more worrying is that the information age is bound to be the future trend.
Just like everything we encounter today, whether it is mobile phones, computers, smart home appliances or furniture, it is inseparable from the core chip. In those days when there were no chips in China, our country was very passive in this respect.
For example, the chips provided by Japan to our country are all provided at high prices, just like selling products. They won't give us technology.
Only through constant negotiations to lower the price to buy, and did not occupy a dominant position for a long time. Such development is not conducive to the development of China.
At that time, the state's funds were also very limited. 1984, Huang Lingyi also proposed to study large-scale integrated circuits, but it failed to be realized for various reasons, and even the whole group was cancelled by the state.
This became a wound in Huang Lingyi's heart. How can China people not have their own chips? They need to buy potato chips every day, but they don't know what's inside.
So at this exhibition, Huang Lingyi studied each chip carefully, hoping to find some clues and help him get some inspiration, so he set up the Microelectronics Center at the end of 1986.
After Huang Lingyi 1990 returned to China, he devoted himself to the research and development of chips. But in the next few years, although China's chips have developed, the overall situation is still relatively slow, and there are too few experienced personnel. Everything is only progressing under the insistence of Huang Lingyi.
In this way, Huang Lingyi has reached the age of 66, and it is reasonable to say that she has passed the retirement age, but Huang Lingyi still can't worry about her career.
As a result, regardless of other people's dissuasion, she still works in her post every day. This spirit inspired many young people later, who devoted themselves to the research of chips in more detail.
It took me a lifetime to finally see the birth of China Core at the age of 84.
In 200 1 year, Huang Lingyi was invited by the Computing Institute to help them develop the CPU of the computer and carry out physical design. At that time, Huang Lingyi was also worried that various problems such as funds would affect the research, which eventually led to the result of giving up halfway.
However, after a period of ideological struggle, Huang Lingyi decided to devote herself to this research. With this decision, Huang Lingyi spent 15 years in this position.
In 2002, Huang Lingyi and her team gradually found the method of chip research, so Loongson 1C and 1B began to study, which was destined to be very difficult in the first research. There have been several problems with the chip, and people are worried that this research will fail.
But in the end, we didn't let everyone down for years. 1C succeeded, and 1B also declared the research successful. In this way, China people finally have their own chips, which is undoubtedly an honor and the greatest praise for these scientists.
With the success of the first batch of chips, people began to develop in a higher and better direction, and Huang Lingyi worked tirelessly in her post. Even in the middle, Huang Lingyi felt that her body could not continue to bear such a heavy workload.
But in the end, I was persuaded by her enthusiasm. Over the years, Huang Lingyi has participated in the research of 2D, 2E, 2F and 2F2, pushing China chips to a more advanced position again and again. She is also affectionately known as the mother of China chips.
The research studio of Loongson 20 19 is also releasing the birth of a new generation of products and their higher skills. In our eyes, this is not a small chip, but the pride and greatness of the whole country and the efforts of scientists who have devoted their lives behind it.
With the putting into use of "Godson 3", the 84-year-old Huang Lingyi, as an outstanding scientist, was awarded the "CCF Xia Supei Award" by the state in 20 19.
This is not only an honor, but also the affirmation and gratitude of the whole country to Huang Lingyi. Her dream of revenge for the country has finally come true. A strong teenager makes a strong country, and a new generation of young people should follow in the footsteps of their ancestors to make the country richer and stronger.
