The remains of Namir's Pre-Shield Kingdom are very rare. The famous Namir Shield (3200 BC) recorded the great achievements of King Namir of Upper Egypt (that is, King menes) who reportedly conquered Lower Egypt, and reflected the conquest and slaughter in the process of the formation of Egyptian slave society. There are relief paintings on both sides of the stone tablet. On the front, King Namir, wearing a crown and holding a scepter, attacked the enemy. On the back, King Namir, accompanied by the waiting ministers, executed the prisoners and reviewed the victory. Kings, courtiers and enemies all show their ranks in different sizes, and the hierarchical structure and unique straight-headed Egyptian shape have been formed. The technique is quite mature, and similar works earlier than it have not yet been discovered. There seems to be a transitional work between it and the naive paintings on prehistoric Egyptian coarse pottery.
