(2070- 1600) is the first tribal hereditary dynasty in the Central Plains recorded in China's traditional history books.
It is generally believed that Xia Dynasty is a country with multiple tribal alliances or complex emirates, and its main tribe is called Xia people. According to historical records, Yuchuan is located in Zi Qi, which changed the abdication system of primitive tribes and created the hereditary throne of China for nearly 4,000 years.
The Xia Dynasty spread to 14 dynasties and 17 kings, which lasted for 470 years and was destroyed by the Shang Dynasty. As the first dynasty in China's traditional history, the Xia Dynasty has a high historical position, and later generations often call themselves "Huaxia" and "Zhu Xia", making it synonymous with China.
According to historical records, Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties were all feudal dynasties, with monarchs and princes ruling separately, and Xia was the first hereditary clan feudal dynasty. There are a certain number of bronze and jade ritual vessels in the cultural relics of the Xia Dynasty, dating from the late Neolithic Age to the early Bronze Age.

Origin of Xia nationality
According to historical records, before the establishment, Xia tribe and surrounding tribes often fought for the leader of the alliance. Xia tribe rose gradually after the legendary Zhuan Xu in the ancient history of China.
Many ancient documents trace the Xia nationality back to Zhuan Xu. Among them, Shi Benji and Da Dai called Gun the son of Zhuan Xu, and thought that the second son of Huangdi was Changyi, born in Zhuan Xu, the son of Zhuan Xu was Gun, and the son of Gun was Yu, the father of Xia Houqi. However, the "Apollo Royal Family" quoted in Han Shu Yi Wen Zhi thinks that "Zhuan Xu V was born a widow". ?
Regardless of lineage, these records show that Xia tribe is probably descended from Zhuan Xu tribe, and Zhuan Xu tribe was formed by the intermarriage of Zhuan Xu Levin, a descendant of the Yellow Emperor, and a Gonggong family. Xia tribe first lived in the middle and lower reaches of Wei River, and then moved eastward to the Luo Yi Valley in southern Shanxi and western Henan.
