The significance of challenging the law
The method of challenging yourself (pinyin: y ǐ sh ē n shi ǐ f) is an idiom derived from a historical story, and the relevant allusions of the idiom come from The Legend of Wang Han written by Ban Gu in the Eastern Han Dynasty.

The original meaning of "trying the law by oneself" is to personally try to do things that violate the law, which means knowingly committing crimes; Can be used as predicate, object and attribute in a sentence; With a derogatory connotation.

Origin of the idiom: Therefore, if you are greedy, you can change and rule. Be careful, don't try the law. (The Legend of Wang Han by Ban Gu in the Eastern Han Dynasty)

Based on this, later generations summed up the idiom "try the law by yourself".

The law is merciless. As long as you break the law, you will be punished by law. However, some people try their best, but in the end they get into trouble. We must never challenge the law.
