Tangshan County Tangshan County is the old name of Longyao County in Xingtai City. Longyao County, formerly known as Yaoshan County, was named after the existence of Yaoshan in China and the residence of Tang Yao. Jinda Zhong Ding (1 174) was changed to Tangshan county. 17 (1928), the government of the Republic of China renamed Tangshan County in Xingtai as Yaoshan County (meanwhile, Tangshan Town was promoted to Tangshan City, which is now Tangshan City). 1August, 947, Longping and Yaoshan counties merged to form Longyao County, each named after its initials. Tangshan County has existed for nearly 800 years in history and has been subordinate to Xingtai (xing zhou and Shunde). Tangshan, Tangshan is a modern coastal city. Tangshan City is located in the center of Bohai Bay (the famous Tangshan Bay in the south), bordering Bohai Sea in the south, Yanshan Mountain in the north, Qinhuangdao City in the east and Beijing and Tianjin in the west. It is a throat area and an extremely important corridor connecting North China and Northeast China.
