"The Spring and Autumn Period of Sixteen Kingdoms" recorded the open-air "Four Seasons Bathroom" of Shi Hu, the late Zhao Emperor (I talked about this tyrant in my blog the other day). He and his favorite concubines and maids can play all night while taking a bath. The water discharged from bathing is also called the "Smelling Canal", which is ambiguous. Shen Kuo, a poet in the Song Dynasty, wrote in Biography of Meng Qian and Zhao Chuan that Emperor Hancheng watched Zhao take a bath and gave Zhao's maid a golden cake as a bribe. The romantic story of Li Longji Yang Guifei, the emperor of the Tang Dynasty, bathing in Huaqing Pool has also been repeatedly commented by later generations. Feng Menglong's Love History of Ming Dynasty said that when the imperial concubine was taking a bath, An Lushan and Li Longji commented on her breasts, and they wrote a doggerel. Li Longji said, "The head of a chicken should be peeled with soft skin", and An Lushan said, "Lubrication is like stuffing it with crispness."

Bathing in western history is also full of erotic elements, but the difference is that in the history of China, emperors and empresses washed in an ambiguous way, which ordinary people can't enjoy, while the west is a public bath for the public.
