The origin of waltz
Waltz originated in Germany and is popular in Europe. It is the earliest self-entertainment dance form in social dance and has strong vitality.

Waltz is beautiful and soft, dance music is beautiful and lyrical, and the rhythm is 3/4 adagio, about 28 to 30 bars per minute. Waltz is divided into two types according to speed. The fast waltz is also called the Vienna waltz, not the slow waltz without the word "Vienna". It evolved from the Viennese waltz.

Both fast waltz and slow waltz are dominated by rotation. Through the movements of knees, ankles, palms, heels, palms and toes, combined with the lifting, tilting and swinging of the body, the dance steps are driven, which makes the dance steps ups and downs, gorgeous and elegant, and enjoys the reputation of "after the dance".

As a three-step dance, the basic footwork of waltz is one beat, three beats and three steps per bar, but there are also two or four steps per bar. Waltz has also evolved a variety of complex dance steps, many of which are basically the same as tango, foxtrot and quickstep in footwork, but with different rhythms and styles.

Characteristics of Waltz:

Swing and turning are inseparable, and the engine is related to the tire. Without turning around, the emergence of swing completion depends on the skill of time movement through the center of the body, the movement of legs and hips, and the swing of shoulders and arms to complete the light, elegant and dynamic dance.

The dancer's thinking logic will think that the upper body is motionless, but the limbs are free, and the coordination between the partners can't be bound. This is a good phenomenon. Body rotation can relax the muscles of limbs, so you must be prepared for body rotation before swinging.

Knees are relaxed and bent, the body is slightly forward from above the legs, the shoulders are relaxed and flat, the back is slightly tight, and the body center of gravity is placed on the palm of your hand. After the start of the movement, the rotation referred to in the dance steps refers to the rotation between feet, not the rotation of the body, especially for women, there are almost only forward and backward movements, and the rotation is completely completed by men.
