Chen Ziang, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, has a famous five-character poem on the tower of Youzhou: Where is the time that passed before me? Behind me, where is the next generation? . Only the boundless universe, boundless, can't stop the tears full of sadness. The "Youzhoutai" in the poem is also called Jibei Building, so the address is in Daxing District of Beijing today.
3. Yandou: During the Warring States Period, it was named Yan because it was close to the Yanshan Mountains. Today's Beijing used to be the capital of Yan, so later generations took "Yan Dou" as another name for Beijing, which derived some titles such as Yantai, Yancheng and Yanshi.
4. Youdu: Youdu County was established in the Tang Dynasty, and Youdu Prefecture was also established in the Liao Dynasty, both in today's Beijing area.
5. Yanjing: In the second year of the Tang Dynasty (759), Shi Siming established a "Dayan" country, calling itself Yan Di, renamed Fanyang Yanjing as the capital, and later descended to the Tang Dynasty. Later, the name Yanjing was widely used, such as "yenching university" founded in the Republic of China and "Yanjing Hotel" today.
6. Capital: After the Tang Dynasty, people used to call the capital the capital (Chang 'an at that time). After Beijing became the capital from the Jin Dynasty, the word "capital" became synonymous with Beijing until now.
7. Yanshan: In the fourth year of Xuanhe in the Northern Song Dynasty (1 123), Song and Jin jointly attacked Liao, captured Yanjing and established Yanshan House, so Yanjing was also called Yanshan.
