Nalan Mingzhu (1635- 1708), a native of Zhenghuang Banner, Manchuria, was an important minister in Kangxi Dynasty. Nalan Mingzhu played an active role in Kangxi's proposal to withdraw from San Francisco, unify Taiwan Province Province and resist foreign enemies. In the twenty-seventh year of Kangxi (1688), he was dismissed for the crime of nepotism. Although he was reinstated, he was no longer reused. He died in the forty-seventh year of Kangxi (1708).
