Zhugang Site in Neixiang is a cultural relic protection unit in Henan Province.

Zhugang site is Yangshao culture in Neolithic Age, located in Zhugang Village, 3 kilometers southeast of Mashankou Town, neixiang county. It is 300 meters away from Mohe in the north, adjacent to Mohe alluvial plain in the east, farmland in the south and expressway in the west. The whole site is an irregular rectangle with a width of 170 m from east to west and a length of 300 m from north to south, with a total area of about 50,000 square meters. Cultural accumulation is 2m to 7m thick,1986165438+10/2 1, which was announced by the people's government of Henan Province as the second batch of provincial-level cultural relics protection units.

This site has not been excavated yet. From the parts around the site, many houses, braised clay, ash pits, tombs, stone tools, pottery and a large number of animal bones were found. A complete gray pottery jar filled with sand was found under the charred soil layer in the western part of the southern part of the site. There are still clam bones and crab clips in the jar, and a large number of conch shells and an urn coffin are found around it. Samples collected on the surface include stone tools and pottery, and natural relics include bones such as pigs, deer, fish, mussels and snail shells. Stone tools are mainly grinding, including stone axe, net pendant, stone shovel, stone shovel and Shi Mao. Pottery mainly includes ding, jar, pot, basin and vessel seat. There are gondolas, tripods, foot-circling boats, etc. The texture is sand, mud, etc. The color of pottery is mainly gray pottery, and red pottery accounts for a large proportion. Decorative patterns include blue patterns, additional suede patterns and scratch patterns. Red pottery is decorated with a red background, and painted pottery is black with a red background. The typical vessel is a round-bottomed painted pottery bowl. The flat-bottomed pot rolls along the belly of the drum, and the upper and lower pots are trumpet-shaped. 1April, 988, the geometric painted pottery cylinder (Tao Pai drum) collected from people's homes around the site was discovered for the first time in the south of the Yellow River.

Mashankou Town: Mashankou Town is located at the southern foot of Funiu Mountain, the remaining vein of Qinling Mountains, 33km northeast of Neixiang County, and at the junction of neixiang county, zhenping county and nanzhao county. It is a mountainous town, with mountains, hills and plains alternately distributed, and the Mohe River runs through the whole territory from north to south. The town covers an area of 283 square kilometers, with a neighborhood committee and 24 administrative villages: Mashankou Town neighborhood committee, Yangang Village, Ciyuan Village, Yuegang Village, Dazhai Village, Sishanmiao Village, Anbei Village, Hekou Village, Du Luo Zhuang Village, Shimiao Village, Zhumiao Village, Damogang Village, Baimiao Village, Sanchahe Village, Guandiping Village, Huabei Village and Lijing Village.
