1, Wuhai City belongs to Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Wuhai City is located in the west of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with a total area of 1754 square kilometers and a population of 550,000. It is located in the upper reaches of the Yellow River, bordering Ordos in the east, Yinchuan in Ningxia in the south, Alashan in the west and Woye in Hetao in the north. It is the junction of North China and Northwest China. Wuhai City, built in 1976, is the third municipality directly under the Central Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
